Purpose of this role:
• This Senior IP Account manager position exists to understand the IP Corporate market, achieve IP
related products’ new and renew target in region and meet company objectives in the areas of
new sales revenue, retention revenue, growth of base business and market penetration.
• This position is dedicated to sales of IP research, analytics and workflow solutions for LexisNexis.
• Also, this position requires communications within regional and global team and managing skill
of sales opportunity and long term sales project.
Responsibilities:
Planning and execute
• Set up annual sales plan and achieve sales target assigned by company
• Plan and prioritize personal sales activities proactively and customer/prospect contact towards
achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time
and productivity
• Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market
development strategy
• Meet customer needs in market by selling IP products
New Sales
• Finding new lead and market for achieving New sales target
• Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets through direct sales efforts to a defined territory
which targets New Clients
• Build a strong and healthy pipeline and Manage CRM database by input and regular update sales
opportunity and activity for each account
• Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods
• Maintenance of customer database and keep active and balanced sales pipeline to deliver
consistent sales performance
Managing current customer
• Renewing existing client contracts with growth and up-selling new products/solutions to existing
customers
• To be able to respond to customer's issues/requests/inquiries in a timely manner
• Proactive interact with customers, prospects and onboarding training team positively and with
added value. Maintain relationships with key accounts
Product and market specialist
• Develop key contacts and business relationships with members of the business unit and key
support providers within the LexisNexis organization
• Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company
functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.• Valuate product performance by extracting customer’s feedback therefore giving an interface
with the Global Product Development team.
Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge
Education: Specialized/ Technical
• Bachelor’s degree holder or equivalent experience
• In depth contents business (in IP industry knowledge) and the ability to quickly develop an
understanding of IP products and services including IP Platform, IP solution market, IP Corporate
customer
• Highly effective communication, presentation, solution-based sales approach and research skills
• IP Solution product knowledge and awareness of online products and solution selling
• Understanding in CRM or pipeline management system
• Fully competent knowledge of the overall business includes a broad market understanding and a
strong understanding of the customer's business model
Experience
• 10 -12 or more years of successful sales experience in contents or solution business (Much
have, at least 5 years in IP related fields)
• 10 -12 or more years of successful B2B sales experiences of subscription or solution-based selling
or similar models with proven track records (Much have, at least 5 years in IP related fields)
• Strong IP knowledge and good understanding IP workflow and process
